SEASON: PRIDE

CINEMA BEYOND THE BINARY

We’ve been celebrating Pride since May and now, in the lead-up to London Black Pride on August 10th, Queer Cognition turns its focus to Black queer stories from across the diaspora. This spotlight honours the complexity, resilience, and radical creativity at the heart of Black queer life.

This next chapter features a free screening of Pariah, the landmark debut written and directed by the acclaimed Dee Rees, alongside a powerful selection of short films that highlight Black queer voices and reimagine identity beyond binaries.

Programme supported by Film Hub London, managed by Film London. Proud to be a partner of the BFI Film Network, funded by the National Lottery www.filmlondon.org.uk/filmhub.
